Comics was my first love and step into art making. For years I have been brainstorming a 10 part saga that stars multiple characters facing incredible supernatural odds. It involves horror, psychological, suspense, mystery, action, adventure, sci-fi, and little bits of humorous scenarios. I call it the OrchiDiem for now, and it starts with part 0, HollowsEnd, set in 1907.

For centuries, the cliff chateau HollowEnd has been a beacon for lost spectres as Lord Ashes would collect them in his ancient book of souls. All is dandy until Ashes and his book go missing, leading to chaos among the spectres. In search for her lost memories, a mysterious young woman finds the book of souls and makes a deal to restore the book as they face several evil entities and occultists. Whether the book’s dark secrets can doom their world, is a risk she is willing to take.

I have published 31 chapters of HollowsEnd on Tapas and Webtoon as a demo and soon plan to work with a team of publishers.

Spoiler alert! That mysterious woman from the synopsis is this one on the cover. She is the first character I designed for the comic and has been through many changes. Her name is Gallow which is a name she gives herself while looking for her memories.

I approach my stories with a solid outline. Often it stays consistent but I'm always changing ideas and update them to a more interesting and coherent version. These three pages went through the most of the turning point of the comic.

Gallow and the spectres! I take alot of inspration from the music I listen to, Blue Oyster Cult's albums, specifically Spectres, was the biggest for me.

This pink and blue one's below was for a class assignment a year after I created Gallow, thus why she looks a little more intricate. I still prefer her simplified dress.

Very early drawings of Gallow back in early 2019, she changed alot from here as my art improved.
